Contest: Free Trip to Drupalcon San Francisco!

CONTEST DEADLINE! attendees only have until Friday March 26th at 7:00 pm to enter the contest. Sorry, but you can't enter the contest if you register day of the event. Friday night we will be picking the top 5 entries as a group.

Once you have registered and paid an entry form will appear. Fill out the questions and tell us in essay format why you should go to Drupalcon San Francisco. CDMUG picks the top 5 entries, top 5 entries are brought up during lunch for Drupalympics.

1 check in the sum of $150.00 written to winner at the event for expenses, check can be used to cover airfare, hotel, or travel. How the funds are used are the winners choice.

How can I win??

On Saturday, March 27, 2010 -- some time during the lunch hour between 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM -- we will make an announcement of our 5 final candidates. If your name is called, you will be required to come up to the stage area. Once all of the lucky 5 final candidates are on stage, we will begin the Drupalympics competition.

Each attendee on stage will have a chance to respond to a question from our pool of Drupal trivia questions. A correct answer will allow the attendee to continue in the match, A wrong or unknown answer will drop the attendee from the match and they will be asked to return to their seat. This process will be repeated until only one attendee remains in the match.

If your name is called, you will have 10 minutes to come to the stage area and acknowledge yourself with a photo ID. If after 5 minutes no guest or attendee claims to their name called, that candidate will forfeit and no longer be eligible to win; a new candidate name will be called as a replacement. All candidates must provide a legal photo ID.
