A Hosting Benchmark site - we could even do it as a DTD.

Seems to be an issue, real quantifiable information on different web hosts. The basic idea is to create a node for hosts and collect performance data based on a common benchmark.

I have installed various modules to create a new input format entitled "Wiki Syntax". This is now the default input format. If you wish to create content with HTML, make sure to change the input formation option. Wiki syntax is very clear, easy to use, and saves tons of time when creating content for web sites.

Idea: Add the forum description content field into the (anonymous user) view on the following page(s) . (We can add this new content block above the "Post new forum topic." text.)

At the August meet-up Spencer mentioned a number of sites with Drupal tutorials, videos, and screen-shots. Could a set of links for these sites be created with the possiblity of a rating system as well? It sure would be helpful for this neewbie!

Hey there CDMUG members - We are starting to build up ideas for customizing the content of our welcome e-mail, which is sent to new members upon registering at CDMUG.org , as well as, Meetup.com . This Forum post will serve as a way for us to list topics and/or best practice strategies to include in the body of the welcome email.

Here is a list of the available dynamic variables we can use: !username, !site, !password, !uri, !uri_brief, !mailto, !date, !login_uri, !edit_uri, !login_url.

The Chat Room is a nice addition. It will come in handy when I can't make it downtown. A couple thoughts... someone assigned to take notes as they happen would be nice at that point. Also knowing who is on the site and/or chat would be nice.
