In this session I’ll present a roadmap to learning Drupal Theming. You won’t learn everything about Drupal theming, but you will learn that you don’t need to know everything in order to start building Drupal themes.

We’ll cover all the major parts of Drupal theming:

• Theming Examples
• Architecture of the Drupal Theme Layer
• .info files
• Stylesheet inheritance
• Template files
• Template variables
• Preprocess functions
• Theme functions

Do you LUV Panels? Do you HATE Panels markup? Do you LUV the Zen Layout Method? So you want your entire site to USE Panels?

If so, this session is definitely for you. If not, you can at least learn how to create your very own panels layout for your zen subtheme. We’ll be showing how to incorporate the zen layout method into a panels layout, that you can then reuse from site to site.
