Kenneth Miles of Chicago, Illinois Charged with Selling $6,300 of Heroin from Yolanda Talley’s Lexus – CONAN Daily

Kenneth Miles, 34, from Chicago, Illinois, USA, is a six-time convicted felon with an ongoing drug case. His girlfriend’s aunt Yolanda Talley49 years old, is the head of internal affairs of the Chicago Police Department.

Around 2 p.m. on February 20, 2019, Miles was arrested in the Harrison district of Chicago. As a confidential informant, he gave a Chicago address to the Chicago Police Department, which he claimed was a felony suspect. Andy L. Simpsonthe residence.

In December 2020, Miles attended a bail hearing before the Cook County Judge John Lyke be charged with a crime of distributing heroin. At the time, Miles was on parole for his fifth narcotics felony conviction since 2010 and had an ongoing criminal case for manufacturing and delivering heroin.

Lyke ordered that Miles be held on $50,000 bail and ordered the defendant to be electronically monitored if he put down the 10% deposit needed to get out of jail. The judge ordered that the defendant be held without bond for violating bail conditions in the ongoing drug case.

Prosecutors dropped both cases and Miles was released. In January 2021, prosecutors charged him again for the first drug case and a judge ordered him to appear in court, which he did not.

Since then, Miles has been arrested three more times. He was also released on bail and a $1,500 deposit.


Talley was assistant chief of recruiting and retention at the Chicago Police Department. In December 2021, she was promoted to Head of Internal Affairs.

On February 1, 2022, a silver four-door Lexus with Talley registration was pulled over on North St. Louis Avenue in Chicago. She wasn’t in the car.

Wearing a black mask, Miles picked up a bag near a black sport utility vehicle and entered the passenger side of the Lexus, according to the Chicago Police Department. His girlfriend, who is Talley’s niece, drove the car and turned left without using a turn signal.

Chicago Police Department officers recovered approximately 42 grams of heroin worth approximately $6,300 from a Ziploc bag that Miles threw out the window of the Lexus. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Officers involved in Miles’ arrest have not been allowed to return to the streets, source says Chicago Sun Hour. In the meantime, he is due to appear in court on February 25, 2022.
