Installed OpenID on CDMUG

I installed the OpenID module tonight on our Chicago Drupal Meet Up Group website. Don't freak out you if you try to log in to CDMUG with your OpenID and get this alert:

"The e-mail address cdmug@cdmug.org is already registered. Have you forgotten your password?" You can still take advantage of the OpenID registration. In this case, you just need to log in to your existing CDMUG.org account and add your OpenID under "My Account". Also a quick explanation of OpenID is it allows a single username and password that lets you login to any OpenID-enabled site. If you don't have a OpenID and would like to set one up then check out one of the many providers : One reason I use OpenID is that no company owns or controls my login information: I do.

I recommend myOpenID and have zero complaints, so far. OpenID makes remembering different usernames and passwords for different websites history.
